Al Danto is a Co-founder and oversees US operations. He brings over 20 years of proven business management experience. He has served as a board member to several Houston businesses and non-profit associations. Al received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Mathematics from Central Michigan University and an MBA from Rice University.

HEATHER KOPECKY
Co-founder
Dr. Heather Kopecky is a Co-founder of UWI bringing over 20 years of healthcare experience. Heather's research into the impending nursing shortage during the 1990's served as the impetus for the Universal Worker business model. During her career, she has held increasingly responsible positions within for profit and not for profit hospital-based, alternative care delivery, and academic medical settings. Her appointments include: Baylor College of Medicine, The Methodist Hospital, The University of Texas Health Sciences Center and Charter Medical Corporation. Her responsibilities varied in nature including management, clinical leadership, operations and business development. She completed her MBA from Rice University and received her Ph.D. from Texas Woman's University. Her MSN and BSN were received from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center.
Annabelle Borromeo
Founder / Consultant
A native of the Philippines, Dr. Annabelle Borromeo brings with her has over a 20 years of professional experience in foreign nursing recruitment. During her nursing career as an ICU and home health nursing specialist, she has trained and mentored thousands of nurses. She has experience in inpatient, outpatient and home health components of the patient care continuum. Annabelle also has extensive teaching experience in preparing nurses for the NCLEX exam. She has demonstrated a 98% success rate in preparing foreign trained nurses for the CGFNS and NCLEX exams. For this, she has earned much respect among American nursing executives and Philippine Deans of Colleges of Nursing. She received her Ph.D. from Texas Woman's University, her MSN from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. Her BSN from St. Louis University, Baguio City and her graduate in nursing degree from the University of the Philippines, Philippine General Hospital School of Nursing.
